Artistic material investigations of prefabricated structures using exclusively wood-based materials. The prefabricated facade elements are mounted on the outside of a load bearing frame construction according to the internal needs for light and views. Thus, the project follows our interest in creating a bearing structure independent of the climate screen, making a flexible building able to adapt to specific site conditions and future changes. The construction is dimensioned according to available sizes of 3-layer panels, and all joints between the elements occur on the backside of the frame construction, ensuring precise construction with significant tolerances. The assembly method is inspired by the way inexpensive steel structures are put together, and is adapted to a more tactile timber construction. Part of ongoing investigations supported by the Danish Art Workshops, Danish Arts Foundation, Dreyers Fond and Talent Norge.
